People often say, audience avoid malayalam cinema and opt for tamil or other language movies, even dubbed versions. To know why, just spend some time and watch this film.If you find anything new in this film, that will be a great invention.

Coming to the movie, the movie revolves around the suicide of three girls doing their plus one in a private school, one of the hot stuff in media some months ago. Some initial enquiries on the case and all of a sudden another fresh year comes and heroine,Sharanya Mohan joins the school,in one of the vacancy of the late student. Then as usual, the ghost of one of the dead student enters into the body of the heroine..the rest forms the film.

Perfomance wise,Siddique,as the father of one of the dead student has given a good perfomance.Mukesh as the investigating officer and the uncle of the heroine is apt to the role and nothing much to offer.Vineeth is good and is seen in the role that we have seen him in a dozen times.Manoj.K.Jayan appearing in the last half of the film as the usual 'Manthravadi' is in the usual label.Sharanya Mohan is cute but does't have the grace, what she is supposed to have.Jagathy and Harisree Ashokan are in the responsibility to handle the comedy section.Atleast for one or two instants, they are just worse and the scene results in tragedy.Other co-actors are just ok.

Now in a whole, what is the need for taking this film.If you don't have anything new to offer in any department of the movie, just stop taking movies. How many times have malayalees seen the same old horror and at last a witch comes to the scene and forces the ghost out of the body and all.Shots are by sanjeev shankar and has nothing new.Music department is too weak and one song was very much misplaced that whoos came from audience. If you have plenty of time and loves to laugh at horror scenes just go for this movie.

Rating:2/5
Verdict:Sure flop

Neelathamara blooms again...

The recreation of the romantic memories of older times is not so easy. But Lal Jose and crew seems to be very optimistic about their very new venture ‘Neelathamara’.The movie featuring fresh faces is a brilliant adaptation of the romantic hit of 1979 with the same name itself. The older movie was penned by the literary face of Malayalam M.T.Vasudevan Nair.Once again he is recreating the magical touch with his script.

The title role of ‘Kunjimalu’ is portrayed by the fresh face Archana Kavi,a well known VJ.Also the male roles are enacted by new comers. Kalesh dons the role of Haridas, earlier enacted by Ravi Kumar while Ambika's brother Suresh is essaying the role of Appukkuttan, earlier played by Sathar. Rima Kallingal and Samvrutha Sunil joins the cast.Lal Jose, who is well known for his directorial magic is very hopeful of recreating the magic in the box-ofice.The main attraction of the movie is the script itself.Another master touch from M.T,’Pazhassiraja’ is creating waves in kerala theatres. Before its waves are set down, another script from the master writer is gonna grace theatres.

The film is being produced by Suresh Kumar under his own banner Revathi Kalamandir. The music of the film has been composed by Vidyasagar. The promo and one of the songs are on air,and seems very promising. The romantic number from vidyasagar,”Anuraga vilochananayi…” is a sure bet.Itz time for the ‘Neelathamara’ to bloom again…
The movie will grace the theatres on november 20.
All the very best for the film...
